Automotive Parts Manufacturers' Association

Development of an web-based energy management software for the Canadian automotive parts manufacturing industry. The web platform is used to monitor energy consumption and calculate GHG emissions, energy consuming devices inventory, as well as a project management tool for energy efficiency focused projects. Project partners include Natural Resources Canada, the Canadian Automotive Parts Manufacturers' Association (APMA), Enbridge Gas, and Union Gas.


Ontario Ministry of the Environment & Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters Association (CME)

Development of web-based toxic substance management system and training for manufacturing and mining companies in Ontario, Canada. This software is designed to help these operations simplify regulated data management and reporting as required by the recently introduced Ontario Toxic Reduction Act (2009). Project partners include the Ontario Ministry of Environment, Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters Association (CME) and the Ontario Centre for Environmental Technology Advancement (OCETA).


Province of New Brunswick

Development of a web-based platform and dashboard that aggregates and reports monthly energy data and GHG emissions for all buildings and vehicles owned and operated by the Province of New Brunswick.


Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and the APMA

Development of a comprehensive ISO 14001 implementation program for automotive parts manufacturing companies in response to OEM mandates in the late 1990’s. This program included the development of an industry specific implementation guide, training workshops, and mentoring more than 25 students over two years for the purpose of implementing ISO 14001 management systems. The program was developed in partnership with the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and the APMA.
